[SGU] is a clan focusing largely on social gaming, but we are planning on getting into some more competitive gaming soon.

What do we play?

We play anything that uses a mouse (keyboard is optional). At the moment, the biggest clan games are:

Call of Duty 4
Dota
Heroes of newerth
L4D 1-2
Team Fortress
Battle Field 2
Trackmania

Well Technically you get the point: WE PLAY ANYTHING!!

Why do we play?

We play it for the lolz, to have a good time, and to get to know one another. [SGU] doesn't care about your scores (ok, we do. But not very much ), as long as you're awesome!

Where do we play?

We play at Organised Chaos LAN (OC, but we assume you know this, because you are on the forums). You may also spot players bearing the [SGU] tag online, mainly in CoD4. Logic dictates that that is us too.

What did you say about competitive gaming?

At the moment our competitive teams are only in the pipeline, but we plan to have 2 CoD4 teams and 2 DotA teams, a first and a reserve team for each.

At the moment we dont have any confirmed teams but that will be sorted out soon.

We expect some great things from them in the future (well, ok. Some above average things), look out for them on the public servers at OC, and on the Promod servers on Igame.

So, how do I get in?

To get in, please send an applcation email to mail.sgu@gmail.com with the following details:

How often do you attend OC?:

From there, we will invite you to the [SGU] meet at OC, where you will meet the members and we will talk general (censored), and see if we vibe with you or not. After the OC, the clan will give you the thumbs up or thumbs down.

Otherwise, if you really want in, we suggest you play in the CoD4 and DotA games that [SGU] members play in, hop on to our TeamSpeak channel (SGU has a permanent TeamSpeak channel up, simply PM one of our members via DC++ to get the IP address) and have a chat with us. In general, be friendly and outgoing, be a jol, don't be an ass. Asses are not welcome in [SGU]. At the moment, we also suggest that if you want to apply, play DotA. SGU desperately needs DotA players (but if you dont play DotA, we're not going to refuse you on those grounds )

Thats about it. Because this clan is more focused on the social side of gaming rather than competitive, we see this clan going some very awesome places.

So, what does being in this group do for one?

GR8! Welcome! we need more people As soon as we get to more than 10 ppl il set up a site and mail..

It will be like a clan but a social one to meet new people.without the competitive stress,if we have people who are intrested in going competitive and online at a later stage,it can be aranged.but this group wil take part in social games and lans

I think it'll be interesting to see how this all goes ... since i always saw the whole 'social clan' thing was more a bunch of friends, who already knew one another, then formed a 'clan' to play games together ... this might be tough since no one will know each other and the age groups might be like 12 - 24 ...

Hope it goes well though .. maybe in future you can have some friendlies with pcZ

I've been playing a lot of online CoD4 at the moment..

And I haven't been to OC in ages, but hopefully I'll be able to come soon
