My roomie, Crazy/Beautiful (Simone in other words, she was at the lan, my clan should know her ) loves getting scared. The problem is, she's very hard to scare!! She's playing Dead Space atm, which scares her a bit every now and again. What other scary games are there which you think she'd like? I heard that F.E.A.R has its scary moments, but its not sheer terror and more startling. Besides she said that F.E.A.R wasn't that scary for her.

I only got scared in FEAR once when there was a glitch, otherwise it wasn't very scary but a good game nonetheless. The only scary thing about Dead Space for me was player death sequences But who knows, maybe Ravenholm in Half-Life 2 is her kind of scary?

You can let her try Alien vs Predator 2. Let her play as marine, with headset on, in a dark room. Bricks will be (censored).
Also try Condemned 1 and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
Original Alone in the Dark was woes scary when I was younger. I got the game on PS1, put it in, played 15mins, and returned the game. I was NOT going to sit through that.

Doom3 Dead Space Clive Barkers Jericho <3 Cold Fear aint scary ppl :< Defiantly go for FEAR 1 and 2.
Honestly I think Doom3 and DeadSpace are the most scariest games (close combat style is always the best) OOOOH and play Silent Hill 4 - The Room. Its the best of all of em.

Ah, yes. The first Silent Hill game. ...I STILL haven't gotten the guts to enter that damn clock tower. ._.;; In the meantime, I've beaten Silent Hill 2, 3, and 4. For some CHEAP horror thrills, check out "Five Days a Stranger". It might have been because I was 10 when I played it, but that game gave me nightmares. o.o Anyway, I STILL recommend Resident Evil 1, because... Well, when you're fighting zombies, and ammo is limited, you try to conserve as much as possible. You WILL run out, and then you're in trouble.

FEAR: 1, expansion, and 2 Dead Space Silent Hill 1 and only 1, cos every other one was a joke Doom 3 isn't as much scary, as it is full of tension, constant, tiring, never leave you the hell alone, thrilling tension.
